Started in 2006, NED has been held annually on November 16th. This special day is dedicated to promoting youth entrepreneurship. This event highlights the importance of an entrepreneurial culture in the development of our society, our economy, our community, our education system, and in the media.

Le Réseau des carrefours jeunesse-emploi du Québec

NED is organised by the Réseau des carrefours jeunesse-emploi du Québec (RCJEQ) as part of the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge with support from the Secrétariat à la jeunesse.

Since 2004, the RCJEQ  has been responsible for coordinating the Entrepreneurship Awareness & Promotion Officers (EAPO) across Québec, established under the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. The RCJEQ equips and facilitates the work of the EAPO by providing tools for entrepreneurship education and creating partnerships that strengthen and reinforce their invaluable work within the different communities of Québec.

The role of the Réseau des carrefours jeunesse-emploi du Québec and its local officers

The EAPO and the Cooperative Entrepreneurship Awareness and Promotions Officers (CEAPO) collaborate with many partners to make this event a success. NED, in collaboration with the Global Entrepreneurship Week (November 15th to 21st), is an excellent opportunity to develop and strengthen partnerships to benefit the community.
